Welcome to the Faculty of Applied Sciences. The Faculty was formed in 2001 and currently has 43 lecturers and assistant lecturers in which 13 lecturers have PhD degree. The Faculty presently trains two majors: Chemistry Engineering and Biotechnology. Since 2007, the Faculty has started to recruit Master students of the Chemistry Engineering Major. We also offer a range of consulting and training services to government and industry. Seminars, workshops and conferences are arranged to assist Vietnam and regional scientists in improving their skills and share knowledge at the local and international level. Our aim is to produce the academic, industrial and entrepreneurial leaders of tomorrow, together with the industrial processes and bioscientific advances they will employ. Faculty has 7 laboratory divisions equipped with many modern devices and instruments, facilitating undergraduate and graduate students to practice and research.

Our present and future goal is to carry out world class research and provide world class training to meet the need for Vietnam to successfully compete internationally in the field of chemistry and biotechnology.
